The DryLicious — Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy

This page explains how we process, pack, ship, and deliver your orders across India.

1Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after receiving your confirmation email. You’ll receive another notification once your order has shipped. Orders placed over the weekend or on holidays are processed on the next business day.

Perishables ship Monday–Wednesday only (ready-to-eat meals, dairy, meat, baked goods). Orders placed after 12 PM on Wednesday are processed the following Monday to prevent spoilage during carrier delays.

2Shipping Options & Timeframes

Standard Shipping (3–5 Business Days)

  • For non‑perishable and shelf‑stable items
  • Available nationwide

Express Shipping (1–2 Business Days)

  • Recommended for perishable goods
  • Not available for all PIN codes; availability shown at checkout

Same‑Day / Local Delivery (select areas)

  • Order before 10:00 AM local time
  • Delivery window: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Applies to pre‑cooked meals and fresh produce only

Note: Timeframes are estimates and may be affected by holidays, extreme weather, or carrier delays. We strive for prompt delivery but cannot guarantee arrival dates once the package is in transit.

3Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and destination. Occasionally, we run free‑shipping offers on qualifying purchases—watch our homepage and emails for promotions.

Sample Rates

  • Orders under 2 kg (non‑perishable): ₹49 – ₹79
  • Orders with perishables (chilled/frozen): ₹149 – ₹299 (distance & packaging based)
  • Same‑day delivery (local only): ₹50 flat rate

4Packaging for Freshness

We use temperature‑controlled materials—insulated liners, gel ice packs, and when required, dry ice—to maintain food safety during transit.

Our packaging is designed to withstand up to 48 hours in transit. Please ensure someone is available to receive the order or arrange a secure drop‑off. We are not responsible for items left unrefrigerated after delivery.

5Perishable Items Disclaimer

We cannot reship or refund any perishable items that are:

  • Left outside or unattended for an extended period
  • Delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout
  • Refused or returned due to missed delivery attempts

Inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. If any items appear spoiled, damaged, or compromised, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and a brief description.

6Address Accuracy & Shipping Restrictions

Please double‑check your delivery address before completing your order. We’re not responsible for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information.

We currently do not ship to

  • PO Boxes
  • APO/FPO military addresses
  • International addresses (outside India)

If your address is outside our standard delivery area, we may contact you to explore alternatives or cancel the order.

7Delivery Tracking

Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number by email and/or SMS to monitor your shipment in real‑time. If tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received the package, please contact the carrier first.

If you still require help, reach out to our support team with your order number, and we’ll investigate.

8Delays & Weather Conditions

Severe weather, natural disasters, or carrier staffing shortages may delay shipments. We actively monitor conditions and may delay or reschedule shipments to protect your order’s integrity. If a delay occurs, we’ll notify you by email or phone.

9Damaged or Missing Items

If something arrives damaged or is missing, we’ll make it right. Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include:

  • A clear photo of the damaged product
  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue

Depending on the situation, we’ll send a replacement, issue a credit, or process a partial/full refund.

10Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the perishable nature of most of our items, all food sales are final once shipped. We don’t accept returns on edible products. If you cancel an order before it ships, we can issue a full refund.
